Eximperitus returns in 2026.
Five years after their last release, the band of anonymous musicians officially named Eximperituserqethhzebibsiptugakkathsulweliarzaxulum remains with Willowtip Records for the release of Meritoriousness of Equanimity, their third album.

One Step Long Infinity is the first track to hit us, reminding us how much we appreciate the band’s violence and heaviness, while also offering some powerful vocals to complement the imposing passages with Eastern influences between two moments of technicality. The track is ultimately quite short and segues into Contemplation of the Plastic Fibers of Perfection at the Second Level of Reality, which in turn overwhelms us, using its orchestrations to accentuate the majestic side that contrasts as much as it blends beautifully with the fury of the rhythm section. The leads are more numerous, once again diversifying the sound before Twelve Centuries of Triumph of the Third Kingdom: the Idea of the Inner Creation of the Aristocratic Character of the Leader and the Process of Tempering Him in the Crucible of Trials in the Face of the Exaltation of Life as an Ode to the Heroic Ideals of Future Civilizations, the first instrumental piece, offers us a moment to catch our breath with this fairly simple floating moment. The saturation returns on Finding Consistency in the Fourth Quadrant of Eternity, continuing to steer the band’s work towards aggression while offering a slower touch conducive to chaotic leads and clean vocals that slow things down for a few moments before returning to cruising speed. The sound disappears into nothingness and then rejoins The Untimely Fruit of the Unsaid, where we find a mixture of the previous track and the more brutal roots materialized by the devastating blast and occult tones that complement the brutal patterns that continue with an interesting complex touch on Golden Chains for the Construction of Individual Greatness. The heavy atmosphere is perfectly managed when the samples appear, allowing us to move naturally from one mood to another, continuing to assault us until Molecular Disintegration of an Unattainable Solitary Will in a Vessel of Wisdom… as a Result of the Soul’s Aspiration to Break the Summed Up Set of Delusions of Reason… in the Course of a Personal Experience of Accepting the Imperfection of the World and Proving that Time Gets Rid of the Fragile and Leaves Invulnerable offers us the album’s second instrumental break. We slowly catch our breath, but Chalkionic Wandering Among the Wreckage of the Future is quick to come and knock us down again, stringing together increasingly violent riffs at a good pace, then with Standing at the Skirt of the Ruins of Human Nature (… on the Other Side of Man and Time) that the sound transforms one last time, adopting cosmic tones between Black and Death Metal which, while not the most extreme, are the heaviest and most consistent on this album, allowing the guitars to soar majestically before finally breaking, resurfacing, and revealing the last moments of this journey.
Between brutality and imposing tones, Eximperitus develops a unique style with easily identifiable influences, but which at first glance would have been difficult to imagine working together. Yet Meritoriousness of Equanimity is already establishing itself as a must-have of the year in every respect!
