Let’s respond to Vor die Hunde‘s orders.
Formed in Germany in 2017, the band consisting of Lukas (guitar/vocals, Distaste, Endonomos, Nervecell, Profanity), Stefan (guitar), David (bass, ex-Rotten Sound live) and Gaius (drums, Sloow) is releasing its third album on Defying Danger Records, Weltmarktführer Befiehl – Wir Entfolgen!.

I know Grindcore. I know Death/Grind. But the intro to Kaufrunstinfarkt with its cash register beeps is definitely one of the most anxiety-inducing I’ve ever heard, and feeling the stupid, nasty riffs follow was a real relief! Although my German is rusty and I can’t really understand what Lukas is screaming about, you can feel that vengeance is the key word alongside aggression! The band draws inspiration from pioneers such as Napalm Death, Nasum, and Rotten Sound to offer a sound infused with HM-2 and similar abrasive elements, delivering half an hour of pure violence across fifteen tracks (ranging from thirty seconds to over seven minutes) that follow each other at a good pace, promising us all a quality slap in the face. The few samples offer a moment to breathe, but in the end, all that matters is the momentum, the violence, and that aggressive edge that sometimes hides a slightly Punk groove that is easily catchy but always virulent. My favorite tracks remain the effective and very straightforward Verbraucherschutzanzug, the short Einweglied, and the sludgy Sie sagen, the longest and most experimental composition that closes the album.
Vor die Hunde carries the seeds of rebellion within it, expressing them through pure violence on Weltmarktführer Befiehl – Wir Entfolgen!. The album is simple, vindictive, but above all very catchy, and will undoubtedly appeal to Grindcore fans!
