New wave of hatred for Wolfbastard.
In 2026, Dez (guitar/vocals, Burial, Foetal Juice, ex-Acral Necrosis), Si Fox (bass), and Dave Buchan (drums, Burial, Cairns, Gain, The Leviathan) signed with Apocalyptic Witchcraft Recordings for the release of their fourth album, Satanic Scum Punks.

We kick off with It’s Fucking Dark, the first track that makes no secret of its Crust roots or Black Metal influences, and whose sole purpose is to grab our attention before letting loose, while still allowing for some intoxicating and mysterious melodies in the quieter moments. Next up is Satanic Scum Punks, the eponymous track that immediately hits us with its catchy rhythm, coupled with a simple chorus, followed by the heavy Let the Bastards Burn, which strikes us with an even heavier and more haunting sound than the previous track. The recipe remains similar, however, as on Hail Satan Kurwa, which charges ahead at a furious pace from the outset and slows down very little, unleashing itself while blaspheming to its heart’s content. There are traces of Heavy Metal in F-O-T-D, but also all the darkness and hatred that the band is capable of spewing out constantly, while Blood on Steel gives us a moment of respite during its introduction, which is dissonant but airy. The rest of the track remains tinged with palpable anger, as does the catchy Drink For Hell, which follows suit and uses exactly the same elements to create a perfect sequel, while the Black touch is much more evident on Fuck The Bastards, with its vengeful undertones expressed through scathing harmonics. The frenzied, demonic side of Wolfbastard‘s music is perfectly expressed on Manic Street Creatures, a very short track with a formidable acceleration and an extremely catchy chorus, which continues with You Fucking Rat in a slightly more moderate vein, while remaining a perfect candidate to be one of the next live anthems, followed by B-I-F-F-O, which closes the album with two minutes of pure hatred, particularly in the destructive choruses where the drums are completely unleashed.
As its name suggests to those in the know, Satanic Scum Punks is a composition packed with effective riffs that get straight to the point. No frills, no samples, just hard-hitting tracks by Wolfbastard!
