Review 2706 : Insineratehymn – Irreverence of the Divine – English

Return of Insineratehymn.

In 2025, Miguel Martinez (bass), Abraham Garcia (drums), Frank Montero (guitar/vocals) and Demitree Rivera (guitar) sign to Memento Mori and Rotted Life to announce the release of their third album, Irreverence of the Divine.

The album gets off to a gentle start with Revelations…, a rather mysterious introduction that slowly leads into Irreverence of the Divine, the eponymous track that hits hard with solid riffs and Frank‘s ranting. The band maintains a bold, Old School approach with a tortured solo, followed by Cosmic Abominations, which features a devastating double pedal under bloody riffs that stomp our feet. We continue with Delusive Ominscience, a slightly longer track that stays with catchy, virulent patterns but doesn’t hesitate to slow down to allow the leads to adopt their darker touches or, on the contrary, become sharper, leaving the band to continue its massacre on Sempiternal Suicide, where the rhythmics remain as powerful as ever. Riffs fly by at a steady pace, perfectly in tune with the band’s violent approach and massive screams, but also with those furious leads, while Mephitic Anamnesis puts the bass in the spotlight with a thick knockout mix, but also some more complex parts. Covenant of the Virtuous takes over with another dose of ultra-efficient brutality, allowing the four musicians to unleash their instruments at any pace, as evidenced by the heavy break, but Visage of the Infinite quickly follows with a rather different touch. Once again, the track is quite long, allowing for an ominous intro as well as anguished passages or worked leads before the final charge that leads to Acolytes of God’s Disease and its obvious rage that you feel in no time. The track remains very constant before finally giving way to Empyrean Desolation, where clear tones similar to the introduction sadly announce the end of the album.

Insineratehymn‘s uncompromisingly straightforward Death Metal allows them to create solid riffs, which they garnish with scathing leads at will. Irreverence of the Divine immediately makes you want to shake your head frantically!
