Far away from closed codes of Finnish Metal, Ville Valo (voice) and Mikko “Linde” Lindström (guitar) created HIM. The band’s musical style blends together many influences : Gothic Rock, Heavy Metal, Alternative Metal and Pop, under the name of Love Metal (officially launched some years later with the eponymous record). They are quickly joined by Mikko “Mige Amour” Paananen (bass), then Gas Lipstick (drums) in 1999 and Janne “Burton” Purttinen (keyboards) in 2001. Even if Gas Lipstick was replaced by Jukka “Kosmo” Kröger in 2015 after his departure, this line up will remains timeless in the eyes of the world.

Bien loin des codes plutôt fermés du Metal en Finlande, Ville Valo (chant) et Mikko “Linde” Lindström (guitare) créent HIM. Leur style musical mélange plusieurs influences : Rock Gothique, Heavy Metal, Metal Alternatif et Pop, sous le nom de Love Metal (officiellement créé quelques années plus tard avec l’album qui porte ce nom). Ils sont rapidement rejoints par Mikko “Mige Amour”Paananen (basse), puis 1999 par Gas Lipstick (batterie) et en 2001 par Janne “Burton” Purttinen (claviers). Si Gas Lipstick a été remplacé par Jukka “Kosmo” Kröger en 2015 après son départ, c’est ce line-up qui reste aux yeux de beaucoup de monde intemporel.

Polish has undoubtedly the recipe to create particular bands… Everything started in 2006 when guitarist Mauser (ex-Christ Agony, ex-Dies Irae, and at this time guitar player for Vader, that he left in 2008) and his wife Aya (voice) decided to create the band UnSun (firstly named Unseen). To complete the band, they decided to hire Heinrich (bass, also in Vesania and Masachist, ex-Decapitated) and Vaaver (drums, also present in Destruction), who will be respectively replaced in 2010 by Patrick and Gonzo (also in Non Opus Dei, ex-Third Degree).

Décidément, les Polonais ont la recette pour créer des groupes vraiment particuliers… Tout commence en 2006 lorsque le guitariste Mauser (ex-Christ Agony, ex-Dies Irae, et à l’époque guitariste de Vader, qu’il a quitté en 2008) et sa femme Aya (chant) décident de fonder le groupe UnSun (baptisé à la base Unseen). Pour mener à bien leur projet, ils décident de s’entourer d’Heinrich (basse, aussi présent dans Vesania et Masachist, ex-Decapitated) ainsi que de Vaaver (batterie, jouant également pour Destruction), qui seront respectivement remplacés en 2010 par Patrick et Gonzo (jouant aussi pour Non Opus Dei, ex-Third Degree).

Because once isn’t enough, we will focus on dark music today. The Deathship Has A New Captain is the german band The Vision Bleak‘s first full-length. It’s a Gothic Metal masterpiece. Many Industrial Metal tones will be include into the record to travel through numerous horror movies that the band easily takes inspiration. The band released six full-length and two EP.
