Peter Tägtgren once again ? Sure. But it’s the other side of the genius that we will look at. Created in 1996 as a « hobby » without Death Metal elements, Pain is Peter‘s second project. No torturated Death Metal rythm parts, Pain lives for Industrial Metal. Only composer, vocalist and lyricist, Peter Tägtgren gathers some session musicians for the shows. Since 2007, some session musicians also record their own instruments in studio.

Encore Peter Tägtgren ? En effet. Mais l’autre côté du génie cette fois ci. Créé en 1996 comme un « défouloir non Death Metal », Pain est le second projet du génie. Délaissant les rythmiques torturées du Death Metal, c’est pour placer des riffs de Metal Industriels que Pain a pris vie. Seul et unique maître à bord, Peter Tägtgren s’entoure de divers musiciens pour les lives. Depuis 2007, certains participent également à l’enregistrement en studio.

Hypocrisy‘s founder, Pain‘s founder, he also participate (as musician, mixing or producer) to numerous albums, from Power to Black Metal (Sabaton, Bloodbath, Dark Funeral, Lindemann, Lock Up, Malevolent Creation, Marduk, Celtic Frost, Destruction, Enthroned, Amon Amarth, Immortal, Septicflesh, Kataklysm, Therion…). He lived in Sweden, move to the USA then move back to Sweden, he is the owner of The Abyss Studio. Peter is a free Metal legend.

Fondateur d’Hypocrisy, Pain, et ayant participé (en tant que musicien, mixeur ou producteur) à nombre d’albums, allant du Power au Black Metal (Sabaton, Bloodbath, Dark Funeral, Lindemann, Lock Up, Malevolent Creation, Marduk, Celtic Frost, Destruction, Enthroned, Amon Amarth, Immortal, Septicflesh, Kataklysm, Therion…). Ayant vécu en Suède et aux Etats Unis, Peter Tägtgren possède un studio (The Abyss) qui lui permet d’être l’électron libre du Metal.

When Ronald Petzke (bass), Daniel O’Connor (drums), Nick Dellacroce (guitar) et Dennis Pleckham (guitar) decided to create Bongripper in 2005, the weather should be really poor. Their music is as an automn night : gloomy, heavy, haunting. Released in 2010, Satan Worshipping Doom is, in my opinion, their best album.

Il devait faire un temps pourri le jour ou Ronald Petzke (basse), Daniel O’Connor (batterie), Nick Dellacroce (guitare) et Dennis Pleckham (guitare) ont décidé de former Bongripper en 2005. Leur musique est à l’image d’une froide nuit d’automne : maussade, lourde, lancinante. Sorti en 2010, Satan Worshipping Doom est à mon sens leur album le plus abouti.

From the ashes of Divine Heresy, Westfield Massacre was born at the end of 2014. Time changes the band a bit, but influences are still here. Tommy Vext (voice), Ira Black (guitar), Stephen Brewer (guitar), Erik Tsinger (bass) and Dio Britto (drums) gather to a common goal : give American Metal scene a fresh face and a new spirit.
